Dana’s natural reserve is one of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in Jordan. It is a spectacular village perched on the edge of a deep and precipitous gorge. The reserve is the great home for about 600 species of plants, 37 species of mammals and 190 species of birds. The wild life there awaits you. The adventure starts by taking short hiking trails of one-hour circuits to the challenging daily hikes requiring a voluntary overnight stop at either the reserve’s campsite or Rest house. All trails offer spectacular views and rock formations and some pass important archaeological sites.

Wadi Mujeb consists of rugged sandstone mountains cut into deep ravines by clean, small rivers. Its most exciting attraction is the adventure tour along the river, which takes you through deep canyons, and pools where you can swim and enjoy the spectacular scenery and wild life.

Azraq Wetland Reserve in turn is an oasis and the only place in the Jordanian deserts where you can walk around marshes and pools and have green vegetation above your head. You can enjoy bird watching on a beautiful hide including a very rare Umayyad Dam.

Shaumari Natural reserve is the home of the magnificent Arabian Oryx, where you can also see one of the largest herds in the world. Onagers, ostriches, and Gazelles together with other endangered animals of the Middle East.
