If you think that you might have a slight interest in desert life then Wadi Rum will definitely leave a great impression on you. The desert of Wadi Rum does not only sound magnificent by being an ancient valley with towering weathered Sandstone Mountains rising out of the white and pink colored sands but it is also the location where T.E Lawrence of Arabia was based and where some of the most beautiful scenes of the famous movie were shot, so come on let us be daring and experience a bit of what his life was like.
It is up to you to decide on the type of adventure you wish to experience, you can either re-live Lawrence of Arabia’s adventure yourself by going on a three day camel ride that would take you all around the area; or be a bit less adventurous and have a smaller taste of this amazing experience by going for a few hours on a camel ride followed by a safari trip deep into the desert, something which would also do the trick.
As for those of you who think they are good athletes and good climbers then watch out for Wadi Rum’s great challenges of scaling its granite and sandstone cliffs, hike or horse back ride along its mountain trails and valleys and enjoy a wonderful experience.
To give the final touch of perfection to the great adventure we invite you to have dinner in our especially prepared tents, where we will make you live the experience of a Bedouin life style. Have a taste of the Bedouin traditional food, and drink tea amongst some of the friendly Bedouins of the area. If you opt for it then you can enjoy some belly dancing too. After this plan we hope that you would be tired enough to go to bed in one of the best camps of the area.
Now, if after all this you still have not had enough of the desert and you do not miss the greenery then we would like to take you further up north of Wadi Rum towards our great Desert Castles, each of which has its own special features and charm.
